Bali canyoning gets confusing quickly because the route names do not tell a first-time visitor what the experience actually feels like. Yeh Lampah, Yeh Muncrat, Kedu, Total Canyon and Aling are useful local names, but difficulty is the better way to choose.
| Beginner | Yeh Lampah | Best introduction to rappelling, swimming and waterfall canyoning. |
| Intermediate | Yeh Muncrat | Stronger current, higher rappels and bigger optional jumps. |
| Advanced | Kedu | More technical canyon with large waterfalls and rappels. |
| Longest challenge | Total Canyon | A longer route linking multiple canyon sections and obstacles. |
| Extreme / signature | Aling | The headline option, including the 50 m waterfall rappel. |
Start with Beginner – Yeh Lampah. You still get the elements that make canyoning special—waterfalls, rappels, swimming and natural rock features—without choosing a route designed around maximum technical difficulty.
Choose Intermediate when you are comfortable in water and want more height, stronger flow and bigger obstacles. Advanced and Extreme routes make more sense when the technical challenge is part of the reason you are booking.
Aling is the most distinctive option in the range because of the large waterfall rappel. It is not simply “another Bali waterfall tour”; it is for travelers intentionally looking for a more demanding canyoning day.
