What you’ll do on the Intermediate Bali Canyoning at Kedu Canyon (Pickup, Lunch & GoPro)
This intermediate canyoning tour in Bali takes you through Kedu Canyon, a wild, low-traffic canyon in North Bali, for about 5 hours with 9 rappels, 7 jumps, a natural slide and 4 down-climb sections. It is for swimmers aged 16 and over with some experience who want to step up from a beginner route, and it includes hotel pickup, a Balinese lunch and GoPro photos.
What you'll do
- Get picked up at your accommodation in Bali and ride north to the canyon.
- Put on your helmet, wetsuit, non-slip shoes and gloves.
- Rappel 9 times, with drops of up to about 35 m beside three large waterfalls.
- Take 7 jumps and ride a natural slide into deep pools.
- Work through 4 down-climb sections with your certified guide.
- Shower, then sit down to a Balinese lunch before the ride back.
Who it's for
Kedu is the natural progression from the Yeh Lampah beginner route: more dynamic and more technical, but still accessible. It suits adventure seekers with some experience, groups of friends and active travelers who want to build confidence and technique. You need a moderate level of fitness, you must be able to swim, and you should be comfortable on uneven terrain and with heights and water. The minimum age is 16. It is not suitable for people with significant mobility limitations, recent knee, back or neck injuries, poor cardiovascular health or a severe fear of heights, or for pregnant travelers. Guides speak English.
