What you’ll do on the Extreme Adventure in Cobá (ATVs + Zip Lines + Cenote + Buffet)

This Cobá ATV, zipline and cenote tour combines a jungle ATV ride, 3 ziplines, a cenote swim, a buffet lunch and a guided bike visit to the ancient Maya city of Cobá, near Tulum. It is a full-day shared tour from Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya hotels, suitable for families with children from age 4.

What you'll do

  • Drive an ATV through the Maya jungle, on your own or sharing it with a second rider.
  • Fly over the jungle on 3 ziplines and try the rappelling wall.
  • Take part in a Maya ceremony, then swim in a cenote, a natural freshwater sinkhole the Maya considered sacred. Life vests are provided.
  • Stop for a Mexican buffet lunch.
  • Ride a bicycle through the ruins of Cobá while a certified local guide explains the history of the Maya, then take free time to explore on your own.
  • Finish with a visit to a Maya community to learn how descendants of the Maya live today.

Send us your accommodation first. Not every address can be reached by our vehicles. Send your hotel or Airbnb to one of our advisors on WhatsApp and they will confirm whether we pick you up at the door or agree a meeting point nearby.

Your pickup time is not the tour start time. They are very different. We collect you well before activities begin, because the drive and the other pickups on the route take time. Your advisor gives you your exact pickup time when your booking is confirmed — go by that time, not by the departure hour shown on this page.
