What you’ll do on the Tulum ATV Tour, 5 Ziplines & Cave Cenote — All-in Price

This Tulum ATV, zipline and cenote tour combines a jungle ATV ride, 5 ziplines (one of them 1 km long) and a swim in an underground cenote at the Maya Adrenaline park in Tulum. It is a half-day shared tour for families with children from age 4, couples and friends, with transport from Playa del Carmen and meeting points in Tulum.

What you'll do

  • Take part in a short Maya purification ceremony.
  • Drive an ATV on real jungle trails with mud, loose stone, climbs, descents and water crossings. The legal minimum age to drive an ATV is 18. Guests aged 16–17 may drive at the guide's discretion; otherwise they ride as passengers with an adult. Younger children ride as passengers with an adult.
  • Fly a circuit of 5 ziplines. The longest line is 1 km long and runs 45 m above the jungle. A water zipline ends with a splash landing.
  • Rappel 4 meters down a wall.
  • Walk down a staircase into an underground cenote, a natural freshwater pool inside a cave, and swim with your guide.
  • Finish with a Mexican lunch at our jungle restaurant. Vegetarian and vegan plates are available if you ask when booking.

The guide sets the order of the activities each day based on the group and the weather.

Who it's for

The tour suits travelers who want several activities in one outing with nothing to pay at the park. You need at least a moderate level of fitness. Children from age 4 do the ziplines and cenote with a guide, in a life vest. The maximum weight for the ziplines is 120 kg. It is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health, or for pregnant travelers.

  • Park entrance, conservation fees, transport, gear, lockers and lunch are included. Tips, alcoholic drinks and the photo package are not.
  • No hotel pickup in Tulum: meet at the nearest meeting point. Playa del Carmen hotels get pickup; the transfer takes about 1 to 1.5 hours each way.
  • Bring a swimsuit, towel, extra T-shirt, comfortable shoes, flip-flops or water shoes, biodegradable mosquito repellent and cash. Sunscreen is not needed.
  • Guides speak English, Spanish and French.

Pickup in Playa del Carmen is earlier because the park is in Tulum: the shared transfer takes about 1 to 1.5 hours each way, and other guests may be picked up along the route. There is no hotel pickup in Tulum: choose the meeting point nearest to where you are staying, such as the Súper Akí supermarket (small free parking), Selecto Chedraui (larger paid parking), Mercadito MISTIQ, OXXO La Veleta, Copal Tulum Hotel, Kore Tulum or El Camello Jr. Our staff wear green shirts and caps, and the van is white or gray with no logo. Send us your accommodation when you book and we confirm your meeting point and pickup time. For last-minute bookings, pickup depends on availability; our office confirms pickups until 8:00 PM.
